You need to look for them!

OK - so it's been a while since I last blogged. We've been on vacation, been sick and so forth and honestly I haven't had the energy! But, alas, my son never disappoints with funny statements, so I had to tell about this one.

Boston apparently got his daddy's genes on not being able to find things even when they are located right under your nose, or even on your body! It's very irritating! So when I ask Boston to go get me something, he'll go in the room where its located and yell back at me "I can't find it." Usually I walk into the room to help him, sure that whatever it is got hidden under something or misplaced from the last time I saw it. WRONG! It's usually laying right smack in the middle of the floor that it might as well have a blinking neon sign pointing to it saying "I'm right here!"

So, to combat this issue, I've been telling Boston when these incidents occur "You need to look for it." Last night we were going to my parents for dinner. I told Matt that I was going to go him some PJ's and then we would be ready to go. Boston hollered after me "Get my slippers mommy!" I knew where they were in his room, but when I walked in, they weren't there. I hollered back up to Boston "I don't see them where you left them, where did you put them." To my dismay, he answered back "You need to look for them mommy!"

Don't you love when your kids use your lines on you! :)
